Job Description
Key Stone Locums are looking for Practice Nurses in Mid Yell.
This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for nurses experienced in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventative health clinics.
Flexible sessions available up to 4 days a week, with a choice of regular or ad hoc cover.
Role Snapshot
• Practice Nurse support for treatment room and planned care clinics.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver treatment room duties including wound care, dressings and injections.
• Support chronic disease management clinics in line with protocols and templates.
• Provide cervical screening and vaccinations where trained and competent.
• Undertake health promotion and preventative checks including NHS health checks where applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control standards.
Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days per week available.
• Sessional work with flexibility on which weekdays you cover.
• Mix of planned clinics and short notice cover depending on need.
Requirements
• NMC registration with recent UK general practice nursing experience.
• Competence in treatment room skills and immunisations.
• Experience in chronic disease management and QOF aligned reviews desirable.
• Enhanced DBS, right to work in the UK and up to date mandatory training.
• Confident working independently while contributing to the wider nursing team.
